I am contacting you because you have Death by Cube on your achievement boost list. I have set up three gaming session to get the multiplayer achievements for Death by Cube. If you can not make them but are still interested in earning the achievements, let me know as I would like to organize a session in which all gamers can get this achievement before the servers are shut down.

Does Square-Enix host their own servers on Xbox LIVE?  If so, I guess it's possible they may be shutting down the Death By Cube server since no one plays it.

However, I can find no mention of this online, except for a thread over a year old on x360a.org from a banned user.   

My guess is the person that sent you the message is either desperately trying to convince people to play the game, or maybe he found the same thread I found and didn't realize it's over a year old.

only EA have there own servers, i'm sure you'll be fine

it's a good idea to get people to join the boosting session, make them think the servers are closing... if he thought of it, but i thought of it all credit is mine, MINE I SAY!!!

Ask machtkampf91 where he heard the Death by Cube "servers" are being shutdown?
