I did the original Cars, it was pretty enjoyable tbh

Cars is better than Cars: Maternational. They seem to handle better on the first, plus there's less to collect on the 1st.

It's still avery easy 1000 either way, Race-O-Rama is glitched and only 900 is available, albeit a very easy 900. Cars 2 looks to be very simple, but i havn't had a real look at the achievements just the TA ratio.

Most of the ones from Cars 2 are grinding achievements, fire X Amount of missiles etc..
