This could be quite a show.
Bryan Fuller's "Hannibal" television show has received a direct-to-series order from NBC, which has picked up 13 episodes of the thriller TV series based on Thomas Harris' character. Now, TV Line has the news that the show has landed one of its two stars. Hugh Dancy (who recently starred in Martha Marcy May Marlene) will play FBI Agent Will Graham.
Set in present day, the hourlong drama is based on the events of Harris' "Red Dragon" (previously adapted for the big screen in Michael Mann's Manhunter and Brett Ratner's Red Dragon). The show follows Graham and Dr. Hannibal Lecter at the beginning of their friendship.
