BioShock Infinite, Tomb Raider, Hitman discounted in Xbox Marketplace sale

It's Friday, which means a final day of deals in Microsoft's Ultimate Game sale.

Tomb Raider and XCOM: Enemy Unknown are both £14.99 today, while Metal Gear Rising and Gears of War Judgment are £24.99.

Hitman: Absolution is just £8.99, meanwhile.

And finally, BioShock Infinite is supposedly on sale, but is priced £34.99 (yes, that's apparently a sale price).

Capcom Sale Hits Xbox Live

Capcom has launched a sale on the Xbox Live Marketplace, slashing prices on a whole range of games and DLC, including Asura's Wrath, Resident Evil 5, Devil May Cry and the Lost Planet series.

You can also grab Super Street Fighter IV at a reduced price ahead of the updated Ultra Street Fighter IV coming in early 2014, as well as one of the complete costume packs at half price. Bear in mind all of the DLC costumes will be included on the Ultra Street Fighter IV disc when it launches, but won't be included with the digital download update.

Dark Void and Lost Planet Colonies are also worth a look at a few quid/bucks apiece, whereas Capcom Arcade Cabinet offers a whole lot of retro gaming fun on the cheap. Bear in mind offers vary by region. Take a look at the whole list below:

Capcom Sale Hits Xbox Live

Bear in mind all of the DLC costumes will be included on the Ultra Street Fighter IV disc when it launches, but won't be included with the digital download update.

I might just wait for Capcom to release the Mega Ultra Super Street Fighter IV update two weeks after USFIV gets launched. 

To their credit though, at least Capcom's releasing the option to have the characters added via download. Personally, I can do without additional costumes.

The next set of free games for Xbox Live Members in August will be Crackdown, Dead Rising 2 and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero.

Starting tomorrow (August 1st) the award winning Xbox 360 exclusive Crackdown (Normally 800 points) will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members through August 15th .

Then on August 16th, Xbox Live Gold Members can grab BOTH Dead Rising 2 (Normally US $14.99) and Dead Rising 2: Case Zero (Normally 400 points) for free.

As a reminder, the “Games With Gold” program gives Xbox LIVE Gold Members 2 free games to keep each month. A new title will be available the 1st and 16th of each month.

Already got it. Great game though.

I'd not played it (Crackdown) until this release and it's always a weird experience to play a game years after its release. I was able to appreciate it for what it is/was and to a degree I can see how games like Saints Row: The Third, [Prototype 1 & 2] and even the Borderlands games may have been slightly influenced by what Crackdown brought to the party.
