Unfinished Games

Is anyone else as bad as me for not finishing games? I'm rubbish, I think I'm addicted to buying games. At the moment I've got these games on the go...

Not to mention the many crappy arcade games I seem to love buying!

Despite all that I still have a massive wants list, but sadly not a spare £1000 to buy them all!

I also have to many to list most game's we play online are games i have just brought so i play them more online than offline lol

Usually i try to finish a game in one go without playing anything else but because I now rent a lot of games, the games i own are being neglected a little, i always finish the rentals, Tom Clancy's Hawx being the exception.

Orange Box (nearly finished Half Life 2, started Portal)

Left 4 Dead (only done 2 of the Campaigns)

Depends what you mean by an unfinished game?

Finished single player once?
Finished single player on multiple difficulties?
Complete all achievements?

If it's the first one, then I haven't got many unfinished games, if it's the second and/or third one then pretty much all the games I own are unfinished (except Star Wars Lego, Soul Calibur IV and Fable II

)

To me, a finished game is one that you've played to completion once. Multiple playthroughs and achievement hunting are optional, and personally I very rarely play through games more than once. Mass Effect is the only one I can think of recently. I guess I'm not a big enough score whore! (Yet)

I think I'm addicted to buying games ... Tell me I'm not the only one like this. 

You are definitely not alone.  Up until this year, I realized I kept buying games and not playing them.  This past Spring I decided to not buy any more games through the Spring / Summer until I finished (or at least unwrapped) the games I already owned.

Here's my list of shame ...

Bully
Mirror's Edge
Oblivion
The Orange Box
Tomb Raider: Underworld

And those don't even include the dozen(s) of Arcade games I've bought and never played.   

By not buying any games this Summer, I was able to take Prey, Silent Hill 5, Dark Sector, The Darkness and Splinter Cell: DA off the list.  Now Autumn is approaching and the preorders are rolling in (beginning with my beloved Batman: AA).  Next up is Marvel UA2.
