Yes.  You can buy the game on xbox.com by clicking the link posted on the first page of this thread.  Then after you confirm the purchase, go to your "Download Queue" on xbox.com and remove the game so it does not automatically download the next time you sign into Xbox Live.

The sale price is only valid for one week.  Duke Nukem 3D is 400 MS Points this week.  Next Monday, it will go back up to 800 MS Points.

Thanks for the info.  I wasn't trying to get a 'free copy' on an xbox in case anyone was wondering  , however, now that I reflect upon my gaming of years gone by, Duke Nukem is the game in which I broke in my oldest boy for multiplayer co-op and death match (that and Quake 1 and 3, Quake 2 scared him with the rabbid dog looking things, lol), I think I'll see about purchasing this under his account as well as mine and see if I can get mine out of the download que as mentioned until my box gets here.

The 'Deal of the Week' offers are only available for Gold members.  If you're still a Silver member, the price will still be 800 MS Points.

Question, Can I buy Duke Nukem and dl it to my son's console, then transfer it to mine when it arrives, or does it just stay with his console and if I want it on mine I buy it again?  Just curious how they handle downloads and getting them moved from system to system.

Follow this link I posted.  You can buy the game while signed into your son's console, redownload onto your console, and you can both play the game together without buying the game twice.

It's not cheating.  It's 100% legal and sanctioned by Microsoft.  It's just a little too much of a hassle for most Xbox Live gamers to take advantage of.

Fable, other Xbox Originals are 'Deal of the Week'

This week's Xbox Live Deal of the Week finds a few Xbox Originals at a 33 percent discount (sounds so much more substantial that way). As previously noted, the promotion includes the original Fable for 800MSP, along with Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne and Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas at the same discount.

Before you impulse buy, make sure you aren't interested in next week's Deal of the Week, which finds all of Fallout 3's DLC (Operation: Anchorage, The Pitt, Broken Steel, Point Lookout and Mothership Zeta) at 400MSP apiece. Broken Steel is a must-have for the level cap increase, but all the packs help deepen the already epic game.

Bit like all the dlc for fallout.100  ingots in the pitt-how tedious was that?
