I think I'll try that tonight, while the game is still popular online.

If I don't get the achievement after a few tries, I'll come crying back here for some charity.   ;D

Sunuvabitch!

I looked at the games on my shelf last night and counted more than 20.  That's waaaaay more than I usually have, since I like to trade off the ones I've completed.  Unfortunately, there have been so many great releases, I just don't have enough time to complete anything before the next release.

I have promised myself I am going to 100% Dragon Age before going back to any of my previous purchases.  That leaves Borderlands, Brutal Legend, Marvel UA2, and a dozen others collecting dust.  I need to marry me a sugar-mama so I can quit my job and play videogames all day.   8)

Borderlands soundtrack escapes the vault on Dec. 8

Rejoice! Come December 8, you'll be able to grab your own copy of the Borderlands soundtrack in store or via iTunes, as Sumthing Else Music has announced (via Big Download) that it's handling the publishing rights. There is one issue, however. "Ain't No Rest for the Wicked" by Cage The Elephant will not be included on the disc, so you're going to need to continue rocking your F5 finger on this YouTube page if you want to keep listening to it. We know, it sucks, but a calloused index finger is a small price to pay for listening to an entirely badass song forever.

Borderlands DLC to add another six hours

Gearbox has revealed that The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned will be roughly the same size as a small exisiting Borderlands zone and provide around six hours of new gameplay.

"It's probably about the size of the Arid Badlands," design director Paul Helqist told MTV Multiplayer.

The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned is Borderland's first batch of DLC and costs the equivalent of $10 on PlayStation Network and 800 Microsoft Points (£6.80 / €9.60) on Xbox Live.

After buying and installing the content you will be able to fast-travel to Jakobs Cove using a teleporter. But you can get there without a teleporter as well.

Gearbox has designed The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned to cater for all players level 10 and over. Enemies, therefore, scale according to your character's power, which means you'll face as much of a challenge at 20 as you will at 50. Plus, each time you return the island's inhabitants will scale again.

While there is (obviously) loot to collect, The Zombie Island of Dr. Ned plays more heavily on location and plot. Most of the enemies you'll encounter are new or variations of existing baddies, and you'll find the eponymous zombies much harder to blow apart - they'll appear in larger quantities too.

Helqist said there's a monster called a Loot Goon that carries an enormous treasure chest on his back that can be plundered should you be able to fell the beast. "We have some fun surprises with Clap Trap, as well," he added.

Failed

I think i might leave the DLC until next year and see if they release more or if a Borderlands collection is available.

I really enjoyed Borderlands, but I kinda burned the game out.. spent like 2 weeks straight on it addicted.. Only way to refresh the game is play with someone who hasn't played it before.. :(

They should take away the cap.. (Lv50) and add more play throughs with one char.. with enemies still scaling with you.. I dont see the problem with a formulae working out the difficulty of enemies lvl's.

Honour, Respect, Loyalty.

They'll probably move the cap to 60 with the new DLC.
