Well true, I used to belong to a forum that had a thread devoted purely to trying to "snipe" the Xth post (like 100th, 200th, 1000th etc.) so people just used to post continually to get from each significant number. That bumped their posts up!!!

Each post on the thread had a number on it so everytime someone posted the post count went up by one, so people tried to "snipe" the 100th post, then the 200th post etc. etc. It was bloody stupid tbh!!!

It started off as a bit of a joke, and then someone took it to far. I haven't been back to the forum in about 7 years!!!
