Mass Effect gets score of 9.5 out of 10 from OXM...I'm suspecting some 360 exclusivity bias but maybe thats just me being cynical!

Developer BioWare has revealed that it is already working on Mass Effect 3, ahead of the release of the second game in the series.

In an interview with IGN, project manager Casey Hudson admitted that work has commenced on the third game's storyline. The exec also said that downloadable content will bridge the gap between the two sequels.

"We are already at work on Mass Effect 3," he said, "building the first bits of the story, putting that together [but] there will be great downloadable content throughout the time that Mass Effect 2 is out there while people are waiting for the third one.

"You'll always have great stuff. New adventures to play. New things to do. We don't have anything specifically announced yet, but we basically plan for DLC pretty shortly after the release of the game and then a pretty intense schedule of downloadable content throughout."

When quizzed on a potential release schedule for the third game, Hudson explained that it will likely arrive two years after Mass Effect 2.

"We always wanted to make sure that we got the entire trilogy of games done within this console's life cycle. We didn't want to take forever with it," he added. "So we definitely want to make Mass Effect 3 a fairly short turnaround, but also being that it needs to be a tremendous and epic conclusion to the trilogy."

i remember when the first ME was released reading about how they didnt want more than 2-3 yrs between game releases. its good to know that they're still trying to stick to that timeframe.

as far as bias is concerned. you're completely right. i dont even read OXM articles. i much prefer to hear what joystiq or ign have to say or anyone that reviews games from all 3 major consoles really.

I like looking at.... ME for reviews dont worry ill give you all a good long Mass Effect 2 Review about 1 week after it is out! lol.

Only two problems.. I love Mass Effect 1.. and I'm a BioWare Fanboy.  So even if it was as bad as Sarge running away from my headshots on Battlefield ill still lowest give it a 5! haha. 

But seriously.. ill review it properly like always   Would be funny to see a review of mine on a game I despise though.. No holds barred!
