I just finished playing the Overlord DLC. It's definitely worth buying and playing for anyone who already has ME2. It's a couple hours extra gameplay and tells a great short story.l It's moody, atmospheric, pretty, large and emotional. Running through a downed Geth ship and seeing all the dead Geth bodies was creepy, but then having them all wake up and attack you on the way out is even creepier, and definitely my gaming highlight of the last month.

i don't have to play it now i know what happens <_<

The first Mass Effect DLC was brilliant, really worth the pennies

Legion

That's only a tiny bit of what happens.   It's a big (idh) DLC.
Plus it was mentioned in both the reviews I read, I figured it would be safe to mention.

I would have to agree.  A lot of the DLC reviews and previews all mention the basic bulletpoints of what happens.

There is also apparently a new "morality" choice in the DLC that is pretty good (for fans like me that enjoy them).  I don't know what it is, and would rather find out for myself.

Legion

I played through that part of the DLC twice. It's a tough choice. And I hope it impacts the events of Mass Effect 3 whenever that''s released.

Dr Liara T'Soni will make her comeback as a playable character in the next bit of Mass Effect 2 DLC.
The DLC, called Lair of the Shadow Broker, will see Liara T'Soni return as a playable character. She's one of the NPCs in Mass Effect 2, having been playable in Mass Effect, but she refuses to join Shepard's party when asked to do so.

The official blurb reads: "Two years ago, Commander Shepard died and Liara T'Soni fought in a desperate struggle against the Shadow Broker to recover her former Commander. Now that Shepard is back, it's time to even the score."

Jurassic Parky

Haven't played ME2 for ages. Might have to dive back in, with the DLC.

Legion

I hope this new DLC tells the story of Liara from between ME1 and 2. Some of us aren't terribly interested in comic books.

I saw this for sale for £15 yesterday in Asda. Still wasn't tempted though.

Same price on Play too, might get it and add it to the pile of games i'll never play.  :)

That was so frustrating.  I tried and tried and tried to get Liara to join my team, but da b**** got issues.   :P

I'm crazy excited she's back as a playable character.

It was only a matter of time

Mass Effect 2 (with bonus content) coming to PS3 next January.

Depending on how good the bonus content is, I just may end up playing this for PS3 as well.   ;D
