Nothing really stands out this week. Guitar Hero 5 gets its DLC ball rolling with live Rolling Stones tracks, Xbox Live Arcade settles back down following Summer of Arcade and Games on Demand rolls out two new titles.

In fact, the best bit of news may be one we haven't mentioned - a free F.E.A.R. 2 update with Slo-Mo Deathmatch. Otherwise, let's hope next week brings in something more exciting to report!

Xbox Live Arcade

Defense Grid: The Awakening (800 MS Points)
Yo-Ho KaBlammo (800 MS Points)

DLC

F.E.A.R. 2: Reborn (800 MS Points)
Rolling Stones Live Pack, Guitar Hero 5 (720 MS Points)

Games On Demand

Splinter Cell: Double Agent (£19.99)
G.R.A.W. (£19.99)

Demos

Star Wars: The Clone Wars
Fight Night Round 4

Failed

Defense Grid is awesome, (if you like Tower Defense games) but rock-hard.

That's a shame, because you can never go to swimming baths! Not without being arrested.

I hate jokes that rely on visual imagery.

I've had it right up to here with them.

LMAO.  :D
I know you would all like to feel my fuse deep inside you!!

Failed

Maybe not, it'd be like waving a candle around wembley, you'd touch the sides but your gonna have to take a run up. I might extinguish it forever, the fuse will never be lit again.

Just noticed Bioshock's been added to the list of Games On Demand on Xbox Live available at £19.99. Question is, why would anyone buy it (or any of the other games available for that matter) at that price, when you can probably pick it up new for less than that online or even in some high street shops, and a lot less than that second-hand.

Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

Wallace and Gromit Episode 2: Last Resort and Sonic & Knuckles are tomorrow's Xbox Live Arcade releases.
Wallace and Gromit: Last Resort is the next episode in line following Wallace and Gromit: Fright of the Bumblebees. It's a puzzle adventure in the point and click mould (albeit without pointing and clicking) and will cost 800 Microsoft Points.

Meanwhile, Sonic & Knuckles isn't just a stand alone game but is backwards compatible with previous Sonic games, allowing you to run through Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 with Knuckles. Best of all, it will cost a mere 400 Microsoft Points. Bargain!

Has anyone on here bought a Game on Demand game yet?

Jaynestown

Nope, and no intention to unless they drop in price to a fiver, in which case I may get NFS Most Wanted
