Good spot Red, he's addicted to gaming unlike the rest of us.

I said i was only gonna get ODST, L4D2 and MW2 this year and have already got SHIFT and Borderlands.

Good effort, just like I wasnt getting FIFA... :-\

I might try and pass up on L4D2 until next year... TRY!

Games developers are the root of all evil! How dare they make all these good games that make us part with our hard earned money!  >:(

Currently i've got it pre-ordered at both Game & Gamestation and will most likely take up the half price offer at Game unless the supermarkets have a big price war, i've played COD4 twice in 12 months so i'm not bothered about trading it in, but like Failed has said elsewhere, the price for COD4 will most likely drop big time once MW2 has been released so i'll probably buy it again cheap in the New Year.

I hadn't thought of that. If my bloody car hadn't decided to need a couple of hundred pounds worth of work on it yesterday I'd have probably bitten the bullet (even though I initially said I wouldn't get it) and got it from wherever is selling it cheapest. Now I can't afford to do that. I've had to cancel my pre-order of Forza 3 as well :( which is just as annoying as I was looking forward to that.

If only someone would have the decency to invent transporters I could ditch my car and not have that expenditure to worry about!!!   :-\

And yet, there it is....

;D

I was waiting for someone to spot that!!! I traded in 5 games to get that Red, Wolverine, which I just couldn't be arsed to try and get the last 4 achievements for, Force Unleashed, which I just wasn't getting on with, Guitar Hero III, which I only bought for the guitar to use as a second controller for World Tour, Race Driver Grid, which I'd just got bored of, and (the only one I wasn't sure about trading in) Dead Space because, to be honest, was too scary!  :o

Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

RedMaster11

I'll let you off JT. I did a big trade in for Borderlands, ended up only having to pay £7.99 for it.

I'm renting Dead Space at the moment. Yes it is damn scary, but a great game if you can look past that.

Jaynestown

That's how much Forza 3 cost me after taking the trade-ins in to account!

If I can pick it up in the future for a few quid (like £3) then I may try it again, but I really did find it too scary (I'm a big wimp!)

Loved Dead Space, it doesn't feel as scary after the first 4 levels. (i'm a wimp too when it comes to horror.) Condemned 2 looks even scarier, so i will try that one day.

I traded in 14 games for Borderlands they weren't very good, they were more for scorewhoring. Stuff like ratatouille and x-men (first one).

As i've said elsewhere, i didn't find Dead Space remotely scary, but, it's still a fantastic game.
Condemned 2 was okay, not as good as the first game for me though.

So did i, must have affected me differently >_<

I wonder if they'l make CoD4 map packs free when MW2 comes out, like Gears 1 did.

sambo

The map packs for CoD 4 were some of the better mapsin my opinion Love the T.V station map.

I think I am just going to bite the bullet and buy MW2 staight out, CoD 4 has been my fav game on the 360, And I don't want to part with it, I can easily see in a few months time after the release of MW 2 wanting to go back for some retro MW 1 action

Failed

There's bound to be loads of people who prefere MW1 and will stick with that, i think MW1 will have a following for a long time (like Gears 1, Halo 2 and other even older games like Counter Strike)

Get on it Sarge, great game, also pretty easy to get the full 970 gamerscore on it too, there isn't 1000 on it as Sega were planning on adding the remainding 30 with DLC but it never happened.
