I just 1000G'd Aliens: Colonial Marines.

If you had to rate the whole game 1-10, what would you give it?

I think I'd give it a 3 of 10.  I had some fun with it, the Xenos were different from the usual FPS stuff.  Bugs were in every aspect of the game, multiplayer was clunky and scoring often was broken or non-functional.  Campaign's story was constructed in a way to have absolutely no bearing on anything that comes after this game (which is probably good), graphical glitches, multiplayer annoyances such as weird camera angles.  Sucks when your camera has a fixed position and your character moves independent of that.  Only hope is to suicide to not hurt your team's progress.  Or when the camera follows the character directly behind their head, so you can see nothing but your characters head.  Or when you spawn as a Xeno looking straight up over and over.  Or how the announcer repeatedly screams "Get over to the gate!" when the game has ended and the score menu is up.  It's mostly constant frustration and confusion.  You fight the game more than any enemy in it.

If you really like Aliens as a franchise, rent it.

1000 on Aliens: Colonial Marines

Hard work near the end to get the last 5 or 6 achievements!

After being reset at Level 50 last weekend needing only the Level 60 achievement i've finally got my 1000 on Aliens Colonial Marines and it can now go back to bloody Lovefilm!
