Its not even out yet, theres a lot we dont know, it wont be jaw-dropping(ly) amazing but i gotta say im still slighty looking forward to it.
Would like to see some proper games for it tho, not just get your fake family around and dance and act like a twat, Black and White would be awesome on it and can think of a few more games that would be pretty good/intresting.

Microsoft: Project Milo "Not A Game We're Planning To Bring To The Market"

We'd always thought Project Milo, Lionhead's Kinect tech demo from E3 2009, was an actual game. Or at least an actual something. Turns out it's not, and will probably never be released to market.

While Microsoft told us that "Project Milo is something that is in ongoing development at Lionhead Studios" following its no-show at this year's E3, Xbox's director of product management Aaron Greenberg now tells Aussie TV show Good Game, "Last year we unveiled the Project Natal technology, we showed a bunch of technology demos as part of that. And obviously [Milo] is a technology demo that continues to exist, but right now it's not a game that we're planning to bring to market."

Sure answers the question of "how the hell is this kid supposed to be fun?", if a tech demo was all it was intended to be. It now seems likely that whatever technology was powering Milo will turn up in a future Lionhead game. Fable IV: The Apprentice, maybe?

I've been saying that Milo was only a crappy tech demo since it was first shown at E3 09, looks like I was right for once.  :)

ShopTo calls for lower UK Kinect price

UK retailer ShopTo has called for Microsoft to lower the price it expects gamers to fork out for Xbox 360 motion sensor Kinect.

ShopTo pre-orders for Kinect are open now with a £124.86 price tag.

The current RRP of £129.99 and release date of Friday, 19th November listed on ShopTo are "placeholder", CEO Igor Cipolletta told Eurogamer this morning.

However, Cipolletta guaranteed those who pre-order Kinect will get the Xbox 360 add-on for the listed price irrespective of whether Microsoft's trade price is higher.

"It's too high," Cipolletta said of Kinect's pricing.

"We believe that with this current economy it should be around £70. For £140 you can buy a Wii.

"Pre-orders are very low," he added.

Cipolletta doesn't expect Microsoft to bundle Kinect with the new Xbox 360 250GB model, set for a UK release on 16th July, although admitted that Microsoft may reveal such plans in the near future.

Last week Microsoft popped Kinect on its own online store priced $149, despite spokesperson Aaron Greenberg's repeated assertions that the $149 price tag put forward by US retailers is "purely speculative".

Cipolletta said that he has been told that Kinect's rumoured US pricing is correct, and based ShopTo's pricing on it.

I would be very surprised if they don't, considering the new machine is kinect ready. Well i hope they do, If they do i will get it.

I think initially MS will just sell Kinect on it's own and see how well it shifts and then if it's not selling well they'll bundle it with the 360S, though with it being released so close to Christmas a bundle option straightaway would make more sense.

I hope your right. Vicki really wants my super elite in the bedroom so we don't have annoying split screen on gears when we are playing online. It also means we could play other games online together, and boost some of my older games for online achievements. I also really want the new machine, due to it's sex appeal, and we both want kinect so if we could get a bundle deal in november that would be perfect for both of us  :)

Alleged Kinect hardware specs claim two active player limit

I am glad about that. The more people you have in front of the tv waving their arms and legs around the more chance of someone falling and breaking said tv. Two is enough!! Besides you could do winner stays on. I got it all planned out  :)
