I can't seem to get in to it, thinks it brilliant but just something about it makes me play for about 3mins then turn it off.

It's because Batman AA is out of your league. You're more into playing crap games like LOST to get your gamerscore up.

i enjoyed exploring, but the fighting was a bit Assassins Creed for me, hit, hit, counter.

I didn't like the fighting much either, after I finished I tried to start again on the Hard setting and got pulverised at the first fight! 

I can see how some wouldn't like the combat controls in games like Batman or Assassin's Creed.

However, I love it.  It reminds me of oldschool beat`em ups like Final Fight and Streets of Rage ... but more advanced.

I love everything about the game, it was a shame it was short but really did have great fun playing it and would jump at the chance to do it again for cheevos
