New Year's (Gaming) Resolutions

I'm going to give myself some "gaming" goals for 2010

1) My gamer score at the moment is just under 31,000, so I'm going to aim to get that up to 55,000 by the end of the year, which I think should be reasonably achievable for me - I think I got about 17,500 this year, so 24,000 should be achievable in a year if I try a bit harder
2) I'm going to try and finish COD4 and Modern Warfare 2 on Veteran difficulty
3) Looking at the outstanding achievements on games I currently own I'm going to try and get maximum achievements on Tomb Raider: Underworld, Tomb Raider: Anniversary, Forza 3, Need For Speed: Shift, Tekken 6, Wet, Scene It? BOS!, Dragon Age: Origins, Uno, Sensible World Of Soccer, A Kingdom Of Keflings, The Secret Of Monkey Island and 1 Vs 100
4) I'm going to complete GOW2 on Insane mode and get the co-op achievements
5) I'm going to re-purchase (or hire - see no. 6 below) Dead Space, Mass Effect, COD 2 amd Oblivion and give them another go.
6) I'm going to start hiring some games rather than buying everything, it may save me some money!
7) I'm not going to trade a game in unless I'm certain I'm not going to play it again (see 5 above!!!)

That's all for the time being, I'm going to add to this if I think of anything else before 1st January 2010

Have 100% Complete on 100 Games and 200,000G

Good list there mate, my only goal is to get to 200,000 Gamerscore by the end of 2010, I think it's attainable though there will be a full month where I won't be gaming as much because of the World Cup, but i'll give it a damn good try  

As for some of your goals

3)  I can help with SWOS achievements and you can also help me with the 2 i'm missing  
4)  It's not that bad in Insane but I know that Tara was gonna run through co-op with you once we'd finished, if you go on Insane & Tara stays on Normal you'll breeze through it in no time.
6)  Definitely a good thing to rent games & you'll easily reach 55,000 by doing that, if you're not already a Lovefilm member i've got some free codes.

Think my only one this year is gonna be to complete some of my older games before i run out and buy new releases every week.
although to be fair ive said that every year for the last 2-3 years.

Out of my 69 360 games that i own, ive completed about 8-9 and dont think i have 100% on any, so thats gonna mine next year.

1, Complete 90-95% of games i own
2, 100% 80-85% of games i own

You've got a nice healthy lead so I think you're a safe bet to get to 200k first.

My resolution is to complete every unfinished 360 game I own by the end of 2010.  This will not be easy.   I just bought 5 more games on Amazon due to a deal I couldn't refuse.

the 2 i'm missing are the online matches, i can never find a match to get the achievements, but we should be able to blag it without much of a problem, we can try for them later if you want?

I've got both of the online achievements but I can't remember how! I need the win a penalty shootout and score from a flying header which I've no idea how to do. If I see you online later we'll go for it, must be able to get an online game somehow

The diving header isn't too bad, i find it easiest from corners.  Heres a bunch of goals scored with headers, maybe you'll get some tips from it too, for the penalty shoot out, I just played as a good side against some rubbish team and messed about for the match then pasted them on pens, pretty easy really.

I'm just watching 300 so Tara can borrow it, i'll be online once it's finished, around 8pm.

I'm not sure what time I'll be online yet, not sure whether me and my wife are going to watch some TV before gaming starts. Should be online by 9/9:30 at the latest but may be on sooner.
