Thank god for the new Tomb Raider, helped me de-stress after a tough week! More of the same please

GamerMan316

I know a few people that have completely finished both Fable III & Fallout New Vegas so no doubt the Asda deal is an awesome one for them, I might just go with the Tesco one, I could do with some MS points and I get a brand new game for £25, sounds good to me.  :)
Rock band 3 mate ;)

The chart deal at Game/Gamestation is appealing as Rock Band 3 is in the Top 10 instore but not in the games listed online, not sure if the games insore will be the same, if not then i'd go for Rock Band 3 or maybe F1 as that's still in the instore chart too.

Well someone needs to get rock band 3 before the next music night cos i will be playing on my own :-\

if you dont fancy the walk try here

I saw that earlier, no money in the bank at the moment, it's all in my bloody wallet!  I don't mind the walk as long as it's not raining heavily, theres a couple of pubs on the way so I could go earlier, have a few pints then off to Tesco.   :)

CoD: Black Ops to sell 20% less than Modern Warfare 2 - Activision guidance
Analyst says publisher is taking a conservative stance in its forecast

The latest financial guidance released by Activision indicates that that the company expects Call of Duty: Black Ops to sell 20 per cent fewer copies than last year's series entry, Modern Warfare 2.

That's according to Cowen & Company analyst Doug Creutz. He said in a research note that the company's Q3 results include "an assumption that the upcoming Call of Duty: Black Ops comps negatively against last year's Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, despite the fact that on several pre-release metrics cited by management Black Ops is tracking ahead of MW2".

Creutz believes Black Ops' sales will be down ten per cent on Modern Warfare 2's, but he says Activision is being more cautious.

"... We think management is taking a more conservative stance for guidance purposes," he said. "We think management's guidance implies Black Ops units down roughly 20% vs. MW2."

While Black Ops might not surpass Modern Warfare 2's lifetime sales, Activision boss Bobby Kotick expects it to beat the Infinity Ward title's record breaking debut and become the biggest entertainment launch of all time.

Activision's live streaming the game's UK launch extravaganza from 6:30pm this evening.

Black Ops hits a million XBL users

Call of Duty: Black Ops' servers have had a busy day, with nearly one million Xbox 360 users logging on to check out Treyarch's highly anticipated shooter during its first 24 hours in the wild.

The developer's community manager Josh Olin tweeted, "Am I getting solid intel? Is there really almost 1,000,000 players on Xbox Live right now??"

Impressive figures when you factor in all the PC, PlayStation 3 and Wii gamers no doubt getting stuck in too.

Perhaps we shouldn't be too surprised though. Yesterday, a GameStop exec told Eurogamer that it had taken more pre-orders for the game than any other title in the store's history.
