I get away with it because i worked full time in retail (a job i detested) from the moment my daughter was born until she was 5. I got made redundant, got another job straight away, got made redundant then went part time in a shitty restaurant job cleaning. My wife stayed at home the whole time, then she decided she wanted a career in care and after 12 months of searching she managed to find a care assistant position with full training to nvq level and a half decent wage, (although she works very long hours) so we swapped roles as we don't want our daughter brought up by childminders. I also have a big schlong
