I completed the story yesterday,and well I don't wanna spoil anything,but quite sad ending.
I enjoyed this game and in the end the story ties itself in and makes sense.
Now,gotta get all the other achevos now.

I wouldn't ever expect a Rockstar game to have a happy ending. Happy endings aren't hip anymore. I would know, I'm a part time masseuse.

Yeah.

Done a dozen missions or so this evening, definitely working my way through the single player now and have a nice round 39,000 gamerscore at the end of the day too

I completed that mission ages ago, just after I got to the third segment. I don't really get the significance yet, maybe it'll make sense once I've finished the game?

Indeed,wait tilyou've finished the game and also the extra mission where you meet a stranger at Blackwater station.Do this as soon as you can.You'll know when.

Will do With no footie on the TV tonight I may try and finish it tonight, I've just got the 90 point achievement (hopefully you'll know where I mean)

Okay, I've finished the main mission plus the additional stranger mission at the end, but what am I missing. What is the significance of the "I know you" stranger story arc? Am I being dumb or something? To avoid spoiling this for anyone else would someone please message me to explain my obvious stupidity.

Scratch my last post, just been reading through all the posts about it on the RDR forum. By the sounds of it Rockstar have just used that mission to screw with everyone's head!

With the 'LOST' finally fresh on my mind at the time, I was angrily expecting RDR to end with some sort of 6th Sense / "I was dead the whole time" twist.  The world was limbo (which explains why you had to do so much random s***), and the "Redemption" was going to heaven at the end.  The non-twist twist that really happened was a huge relief to my neighbors, who would not have to spend their evening listening to me yell at my TV.

I signed up a while back. You get a cool gentleman's attire outfit just for signing up which you can use to cheat at cards. The social club challenges are also pretty cool.

think I'm about ~50 hours played time...just really enjoyed it.

The only drag was the challenges (+ Level 6), epecially the hunter ones - not tough just a pain!
