No More White Stripes

No surprise to me.

The White Stripes is in my Top 50 bands of all-time.  But that said, I think Jack has improved as an artist since the Stripes.

I saw them live, which is the thing I always ask myself whenever I see a band announce a breakup.  I'm grateful.

Same thing here, saw them play a large scale venue (20kplus) and an intimate hall(700), both times, really an astounding sound. Sad day for sure, but seems fitting in a way.

I LOOOOOOVE Sleigh Bells!  I only discovered them a few months ago (thanks Last.fm), but they've managed to remain pretty consistent in my daily listening.  Great driving music.

Oh crap, I've been trying to figure it out for the last half hour. Don't know whether it may be from The Naked Time instead although I think they get in to a slapping match in that instead, Can't think of many more episodes where one of them goes "mental" that happens on the ship............. GRRRRRRRRRRRR, this is going to bug me know.

i have been listening to nothing but beady eye's debut album this week, in my opinion it's better than the last two oasis albums, it feels a lot fresher as well. the more i hear it the more i like it!
