Well surely at the very least you can tell us all about Red Dead Revolution? ;D

nCogNeato

If / when Elle can tell us insider info, I'm sure she will.   :-*

No need to harass her ... well except for the usual reasons.   ;)

zerosum

yeah, let's not get Elle tossed from her internship...I'm sure it's not the easiest thing to land.

Props to Elle for the gig, though.

lets get something clear:
im at ROCKSTAR NY NOT ROCKSTAR SAN DIEGO!
San Diego is in talks about it, theyre going to make it (i think) not NY!!!!! >:(
and i heard my boss say Rockstar NY also may play a small part in the production process..
but we dont really know...

fun fact about L.A Noire: its been in production since 04' (or so i heard from my boss)
I got to watch the programmers in action and ive concluded: game programming IS NOT FOR ME.
i also got to see half a level made and then test it which was cool till i got stuck in a wall :(
and in the office i work in THEY PUT JOHN MARSTON IN THERE! now i get to molest him 24/7/365 ;)

L.A Noire pre-order DLC planned post-launch
Rockstar confirms pre-order rewards "after the game comes out".

Rockstar has said that L.A Noire's pre-order content will be released as DLC "at some point after the game comes out".

The L.A Noire pre-order content was detailed at the end of last week.

Depending on where you pre-order from, you'll get your hands on different cases. In 'The Naked City' - to be snapped up at GAME, for example, players are tasked with investigating the suicide of a fashion model.

They can also collect 20 police badges hidden around 1947 Los Angeles in the The Badge Pursuit challenge.

Have a look at the other L.A Noire pre-order deals and where you can get them from if you're thinking about getting in there before the game arrives.

Amazon is having their usual $10-20 bonus credit on preorders for LA Noir.

My preorder list has gotten out of control over the past year, so I've decided to not actually preorder anything over 1 month in advance.  I keep losing track of where I preorder, and often end up with a bunch of store credit that just sits unused for months.   >:(

:x i asked my boss today if there was any DLC for the game and he looked at me funny.... since we had a weird discussion on DLC last week..
now i know why..

Main L.A. Noire story 25-30 hours long

The main L.A. Noire story lasts 25 to 30 hours, Rockstar has revealed.

On top of the unmissable "assigned cases" you can investigate "unassigned cases" - side-quests, PlayStation Life reported.

Consider that more unassigned cases will be added through DLC and L.A. Noire should keep you happy for weeks.

Just like Homefront. What?

L.A. Noire is an ambitious detective game built on a new generation of performance capture technology. The result is so real you can deduce clues from interrogations by catching suspects out and watching their reaction.

L.A Noire bestowed with movie festival honour
Game becomes Official Selection at Tribeca

Rockstar and Team Bondi's L.A Noire has become the first video game to be picked as an Official Selection at the 2011 Tribeca Film Festival.

The title will take pride of place at the event, which takes place in Lower Manhattan, New York from April 20 to May 1.

"We're thrilled that L.A. Noire is being recognized by the Tribeca Film Festival in this way," said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar
Games.

"It's a real honour, and another step forward for interactive entertainment."

Rockstar will also present an exclusive preview of the game as part of the Tribeca Talks series, taking place on April 25, 2011.

The presentation will feature a live interactive screening of a case from L.A. Noire, followed by a Q&A exploring the crossover between filmmaking and interactive entertainment.

The Q&A will focus on the making of L.A. Noire, the technology behind it, and will be moderated by Geoff Gilmore, Tribeca Enterprises' Chief Creative Officer.

"What Rockstar and Team Bondi have accomplished with L.A. Noire is nothing less than groundbreaking," added Gilmore. "It's an invention of a new realm of storytelling that is part cinema, part gaming, and a whole new realm of narrative expression, interactivity, and immersion. We are poised on the edge of a new frontier."

L.A Noire is due for release in May on Xbox 360 and PS3.
