stop charging £30.00 for games then, if they were priced at £15.00 brand new and a tenner pre owned the that would be a more realistic price point for a lot of ds games that only take a few hours to complete.

I could not agree more.

One of the first things I learned studying Business was ... You cannot change the market.  A business is dictated by the market, and can never control the market.

Trying to fight piracy is an attempt to change the market.  You cannot force people to buy your products.  You can make your products more attractive to people, which is honestly what they should be doing.

The gaming, music, and movie industries refuse to accept that the world has changed, and therefore requires them to change with it.  Instead, they're trying to make the world change back for their benefit.  It's never going to happen.

shirley they can sell the R4 cards for what they are, a memory card adaptor that you can stick a msd in and then add the DS files. Therefore make the DS files illegal and not the cards themselves.

just wondering--been on my usual download site and a lot of files have 'dissapeared' have they been made to stop file sharing then or is it just coincidence

The news story is in this thread, R4 cards are now illegal so expect quite a few sites to close down (the games were already illegal of course) still plenty of sources for your gaming needs though.

no probs i did manage 2 get hsm 2 4 ellie so the rom freaks site( kindly suggested by gamerman) is still ok if anyone needs the link jus ask as am on my phone atm an it wont let me unless gm would be kind enuff 2 link it 4 me
