i consider PES to be the inferior game as do lots of customers, so he's only stating the truth.

Perhaps, but to publically slay another developer is a bit much, Konami never dissed EA when Pro Evo was destroying FIFA last generation they just got on with it, and for me PES is still light years ahead of FIFA in terms of playability and that will never change.

Very true, they might not be numero uno soon either, at least not on the sports side, 2K Sports are battering them with the NBA games, the old NFL2K games were far better than any of the Madden games before and since, which is pretty much why EA bought the NFL Licence to kill the competition, they won't have that licence next year so maybe 2K Sports will reignite that franchise, FIFA will be all they have, maybe.   :)

And thats all they'll need, i used to be on the PES side of the dice but they messed it up, fifa took over and is now light-years ahead of any other football game, i wouldnt even class PES as Fifa's rival anymore, its in a whole new league of its own, nothing is even close.

Agree about arrogant EA but doesnt surprise me, they've always been that way

Madden is far bigger than FIFA, it is the biggest selling sports franchise of all time afterall, FIFA is massive of course, amazing how many people fall for the pretty graphics and presentation instead of actual playability but whatever.   ;D

Much like FIFA games in general, why change?  :)

i kind of agree. Be a pro mode got boring for me, and manager mode is now unplayable due to it freezing up after every match. If that happens to me again in fifa 11 then i will go back to pro evo, no question.
