I have just watched Tyson-The Movie, And would highly recomend it to anyone with an interest in Tyson. It is a great insight into the man, He gives a honest and brutal interview about his life, As I said if you have a interest in Tyson this really is a film you should watch.

I'm still waiting for this from Lovefilm, still the best Heavyweight boxer i've ever seen, and seeing as the heavyweight division is completely dead and has been for about 10 years, I don't see anyone taking his spot.

Agree. Some of the footage of him from when he was 17-18 is unbelievable. The man was a monster, In and out the ring. Tyson could should have ruled the Heavyweight division for 15 years, He was way to good to lose to Holyfield and Lewis (Although both good heavywights) and should have gone done as the best ever Heavyweight. He just could not control his demons.

So very true.

I think a lot of fight fans will still say he's the greatest heavyweight ever because of his speed and power, and how he just destroyed good boxers without much fuss, but then all the controversy comes into play which puts people off him, he's the best heavyweight i've ever seen but then i'm not old enough to have seen Ali, Frazier, Louis etc. but he's miles ahead of Holyfield and Lewis for me.

I would not put him as the greatest heavyweight ever, For the reason he just never lasted long enough at the top. But I do believe when he was in his prime and his head was right he was quite possibley unbeatable, I've no hesitation in thinking he would have beat Ali, But I have to put Ali down as a better Heavyweight for what he achieved over a much longer period of time, same goes for Marciano, Louis even Foreman.

The boxing world truly missed out on a golden era in heavyweight boxing when Tyson screwed up.

I have now added it to my Netflix queue.  Thanks for recommendation, sambo.

At times he no doubt is. I could not condone some of his actions, He has been a Racist, Sexiest bully. But I was surprised at just how honest he was in this movie, He does not try to hide the wrong doing's in his life. He did come across as a man who had finally matured and come to deal with his demons. And as a boxing fan, He was just the most exciting fighter to watch.

Damn right, the heavyweight division is officially dead and has been for about 10 years, even while Lewis was still around, no big stars anymore, David Haye is the only shining light in an otherwise piss poor weight class.  Welterweight is where its at right now, Mayweather, Pacquiao, Mosley, Maragarito, Clottey, Cotto and of course our very own Ricky Hatton, to name but a few.

On a 'how the mighty have fallen 'topic,Mike Tyson is doing an audience with thingy at a club in Collier Row soon. This is a small area just outside Romford to about 200/300 people. To say embarrasing is an understatement.
I won't be attending as I can't be doing with it.Check the link.
