Doesn't help when they've got cry baby Gallas in the squad, apparently when he was told Evra would be captain, he replicated this

I hope Uruguay do them too, not a bad start from France to be fair, Govou should have scored.

If, and it's a big if, France can actually gel together they'll take some stopping, they were poor in the groups last time in Germany and still got to the Final. Still think Nasri should have been picked, had a good season at Arsenal and he's one of those players that can create something from nothing, other than rapist, sorry Ribery, they don't have that kind of player.

France v Uruguay - worst game ever. felt sorry for south africa too today, gutted that 90th minute shot didn't find the net.

i've seen worse games, but not for a while thats for sure, France should have started with Malouda & Ribery on the wings, they looked a lot better once he came on & also once Evra started going forward more. Shame Forlan couldn't stick that chance away.

Was very disappointed in the France game. This is going to be the worst group I think. None of the teams looked to hot on their first showing.
Does any here really rate Ribery? I've watched him a number of times for France and Bayern Munich and just don't see the fuss with him. Now i'm not saying he's crap, But value at £50 mil+ . I just don't see how he is that good. From what I've seen he is no better than Joe Cole, And you can get him for free.

Ribery was fantastic at the last World Cup but he hasn't progressed much since, if at all, on his day he's superb, as good on the ball as Messi, sadly those days don't surface very often, if he had gone to Barca or Real last season then he'd most likely look a lot better, he is also a rapist so i guess he gets what he deserves
