at the Halo launch we were only supposed to get the helmet, but we got the body armour too... 7 of each i got.

I'll be calling in all contacts this week to try and blag some extra codes anyway, if people miss out.

The Weapon Skin catalogue is coming soon according to Rod, there's already a ton of vids on youtube showing them but i'm not looking on there because knowing my luck i'll click one and see the bloody Gears 3 ending instead!

Am I missing the significance of these weapon skins? I don't understand why EPIC are making such a big deal over them, they only change the look of the guns right, they don't have any other traits do they?

Surely the character skins are far more interesting?

They're purely for show, no advantage is gained from them, some will look cool, some won't, basically!

I've pre-ordered the Gears controller, I think that comes with a skin as well but quite frankly it wouldn't bother me if it doesn't have it, I just wanted the cool controller

It comes with the Infected Omen skins which look pretty cool. I might get the pad myself at some point.
