A good villian will always trump a good hero.  Villians make stories worth telling.  Johnson would be an idiot to not take the role.

Been interested in what Tarantino produces this time around, cool to see the guy's not running dry on material. Considering his track record, I'd say Don Johnson is doing his career a great service by taking the role, just ask Travolta.  ;)

Somehow that pie seems to be past its prime.  ???

Though, who knows, with writing / directing credits going to Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg (Harold and Kumar) this might be a worthy follow up. Personally speaking, the franchise stopped creating laughs after the second film.

Die Hard 5 named A Good Day To Die Hard
Featuring John McClane, Jr.

We're still waiting for confirmation that Bond 23 will be called Skyfall, but we can now reveal the official title for Die Hard 5: A Good Day To Die Hard.

Tom Rothman, Chief Executive Officer at Fox Filmed Entertainment, made the announcement on American TV.

Rothman didn't stop there, though. He also revealed that the story will feature John McClane, Jr. and it's officer McClane's trip to Moscow to spring his son from jail that kicks off another fight against terrorists.

Seems Mary Elizabeth Winstead's sibling Lucy McClane won't be returning, with the actress recently saying she doesn’t expect to appear in Die Hard 5 as John’s daughter.

Shooting begins in January 2012 with the role of John McClane Jr. to be cast before then.

Start making your excuses now boys - A Good Day To Die Hard will be released on Valentine’s Day, 14 February 2013.

Die Hard 4's original title was Live Free or Die Hard. They changed it to just 4.0 .... maybe they'll do the same with 5.
